We are proud to offer locally rescued walnut. All of our wood comes from either storm damage or land development - situations where trees come down we aim to keep the logs from being chipped.
This walnut is beautifully figured, kiln dried and surfaced to your specifications. Our premade material is finished to 3/4", S4S, but if you message us with your unique needs, we can custom make anything. This product accepts finishes well and is easy to work with regardless of your carpentry skill.
**NOTE** If you are purchasing material over 7" wide that you would like clear (no knots or blemishes), a glue up may be necessary. If some imperfections are ok, or you are after a 'rustic' look, then using multiple pieces is usually not necessary.
